PRIVACY POLICY
At Tresenting Traditions, your privacy is important to us. We are committed to protecting the personal information you provide when you visit our website, request information, book decorating services, or communicate with us.
We may collect information such as your name, address, phone number, email address, service location, decorating preferences, and other details necessary to provide your requested services. This information is used only to communicate with you, prepare estimates, schedule installations and takedowns, process payments, and provide the services you have requested.
Payments may be processed through secure third-party payment processors or financial institutions. Tresenting Traditions does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to outside parties for marketing purposes.
We may contact you by phone, text message, or email regarding your inquiry, appointment, payment, installation, takedown, or other matters related to your service. After your project is completed, we may also contact you regarding future seasonal decorating services or upcoming availability unless you ask us not to.
Any photographs taken of completed installations are used to document the condition of décor at the time the installation is completed and may also be used for our portfolio, website, or social media when appropriate. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid displaying personal or identifying information in promotional photographs.
We take reasonable precautions to safeguard the personal information provided to us. However, no website, electronic transmission, or online storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
By using our website or providing information to Tresenting Traditions, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
If you have questions regarding this policy or would like your information updated or removed from our records, please contact Tresenting Traditions directly.
SAFETY & SECURITY
At Tresenting Traditions, trust, safety, and respect are an important part of every client relationship. We are committed to protecting not only the personal information you share with us, but also the safety of our clients, decorators, property, and belongings throughout every installation and takedown.
Personal & Payment Security
Information provided to Tresenting Traditions, including your name, contact information, service address, decorating preferences, and project details, is collected only as necessary to communicate with you, prepare for your project, schedule services, process payments, and complete your installation.
Payments may be processed through trusted third-party payment providers or financial institutions. Tresenting Traditions does not directly store complete credit or debit card information on our website.
We may contact you by phone, text, or email regarding your inquiry, booking, deposit, payment, installation, takedown, or other matters related to your services.
Preparing Your Home or Business for Installation
Clients are responsible for providing a reasonably safe and accessible working environment before installation or takedown begins.
Walkways, stairs, entrances, and the immediate decorating area should be reasonably clear of unnecessary obstacles, clutter, water, ice, loose items, or other conditions that could create a slip, trip, fall, or injury hazard.
Clients should inform Tresenting Traditions in advance of any known condition that could reasonably affect the safety of the decorator, including damaged flooring, unstable railings, electrical concerns, water leaks, construction activity, pest concerns, or other potentially hazardous conditions.
Children & Pets
For everyone's safety, children and pets must remain a safe distance from ladders, tools, electrical cords, decorating materials, and active installation areas.
Pets that may interfere with the installation or that could pose a safety concern must be safely secured in another area of the home or business while work is taking place.
Clients should not permit children or other individuals to climb on, move, pull, or otherwise interfere with ladders, tools, decorations, cords, equipment, or partially completed installations.
Ladder & Height Safety
Tresenting Traditions will determine whether an area can be safely accessed using appropriate equipment and safe work practices.
Installations in areas above approximately 10 feet are not guaranteed and may be declined when Tresenting Traditions determines that the location cannot be safely accessed or decorated with the equipment available.
Furniture, chairs, tables, countertops, boxes, or other household items will not be used as substitutes for appropriate ladder or access equipment.
Tresenting Traditions reserves the right to decline any requested placement that, in our judgment, would create an unreasonable risk of falling, injury, property damage, or damage to the décor.
Electrical & Decorative Lighting Safety
Clients must provide safe, working, and reasonably accessible electrical outlets within approximately 15 feet of areas where powered décor is requested.
Tresenting Traditions will not use outlets, electrical cords, lighting, plugs, or decorations that appear damaged, defective, overheated, exposed, or otherwise unsafe.
Tresenting Traditions provides decorating services and does not perform electrical repair, permanent electrical wiring, outlet installation, structural modification, or other work requiring a licensed electrician or specialized contractor.
Decorative lighting and extension cords are intended for temporary decorative use only and will not be installed as a substitute for permanent electrical wiring.
Client Décor & Equipment
Client-owned décor that appears broken, defective, unstable, electrically unsafe, or otherwise unsuitable for installation may be declined.
Tresenting Traditions may also decline to hang or install an item if its weight, condition, mounting location, required hardware, or installation method presents an unreasonable risk to the decorator, client, property, or surrounding furnishings.
Furniture & Access
Clients should make reasonable arrangements for access to the decorating area before the scheduled appointment.
Tresenting Traditions may assist with minor repositioning of lightweight items when appropriate, but is not responsible for moving unusually heavy furniture, appliances, safes, large fixtures, or other items that cannot reasonably and safely be moved by the decorator.
Right to Stop or Refuse Unsafe Work
The safety of our decorator is never secondary to completing a particular decorating request.
Tresenting Traditions reserves the right to refuse, modify, pause, or discontinue any portion of an installation or takedown when conditions reasonably appear unsafe, hazardous, threatening, unsanitary, beyond the scope of the agreed decorating services, or likely to cause injury or property damage.
If an unsafe condition prevents scheduled services from being completed, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and applicable cancellation or rescheduling provisions contained in the Client Decorating Service Agreement may apply.
Clients may not require or direct a Tresenting Traditions decorator to perform work that the decorator reasonably believes cannot be performed safely.
Respectful & Secure Environment
Because we are invited into private homes and businesses, we treat every property with care, discretion, and respect. We ask our clients to provide the same respectful and reasonably safe environment for our decorator.
Tresenting Traditions may leave a property immediately if the decorator reasonably believes there is an imminent safety threat, threatening or harassing behavior, an unsecured aggressive animal, illegal activity affecting the work area, or another condition that makes it unsafe to remain on the premises.
Our Commitment
Our goal is to create beautiful spaces while protecting the people and property involved in every project. Safety considerations may occasionally require us to adjust a decorating plan, change the placement of an item, or decline a particular installation method.
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or limit any right, responsibility, or liability that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.
